  • Use quantitative techniques including Expected Monetary Value and contingency reserve calculations.
  • Hands-on: Score risks, identify top risks, calculate Expected Monetary Value, and recommend contingency reserves.

Module 4: Risk Response and Monitoring

  • Develop threat and opportunity response strategies, including avoid, transfer, mitigate, accept, escalate, enhance, exploit, and share.
  • Account for residual risk, secondary risk, fallback plans, and contingency plans.
  • Use monitoring approaches such as metrics, variance, trend analysis, leading indicators, model drift, data quality scorecards, service-level indicators, and compliance checklists.
